Skansen, one of the most beautiful museums in Stockholm, is located on the island of Djurgården. It is the oldest open-air museum in the world and recreates the whole of Sweden in miniature: here you can find completely reconstructed farms and villages, typical Swedish neighborhoods with churches and craft workshops (glass, ceramic or metal working, bakeries, etc..), Swedish folk traditions and customs.
